Work vs. Talent

Hello! I'm feeling kind of glum tonight and I was wondering, what is more important to be successful as a musician, hard work or natural talent? It seems that among all my friends I have to work harder than anybody to get the same results. Not just for tuba but in order to pass something like a seemingly simple piano exam it seems I have to put in hours of practice while some can just practice for a few minutes. Then in the case of something like ear training I work hard and get no results at all. My ear really hurts my playing too because I feel like the worst sightreader ever. I know nobody gets any where without working but I think to get to the next level I just have to do even more, and well, there just aren't enough hours in the day. I don't know what to do. I wouldn't put my name for fear of my colleages or profesor reading this but if you have any words of encouragement (or discouragement) feel free to respond. Thank you!
