If a person makes an audition into a military band, say the concert band, are they restricted to just that band? So if a person won the concert band Euphonium audition, would they only be able to play in that band and that's it? Or would they be able to play in other smaller ensembles or play something like trombone in a jazz band? This is directed to those who have been in or are presently playing in the armed services groups. Thanks!
