Playing the Tuba 2 part, the Tuba 1 guy is using a 186-his only horn,
I asked the conductor if he wanted octaves and he said "not yet"
and seemed satisfied with our sound (I used my PT4P)
though he did say he wanted a "demonic sound with the bassoons"
should I :
a) stick with the PT4P I used last night in 1st rehearsal
b) try my "german" f next week (would this be too light in contrast w/the 1st part?)
c) break out the BAT and wow them with gentle but 8uv rumbling
d) stay home and suggest they call a union guy
