Hello all,

I've just posted pictures of the King tuba my parents pickup up at a junkyard and would like peoples opinion on repairability and then who would you suggest to do the work. There are more details on the website.

How much do you think it will cost to make the horn playable, relative to buying a good used horn? I'll think about replating latter. I like the American sound with a good low end and I think this horn might give me that. My biggest concern is the splits. I looks like it might need a valve job too. My dad didn't here any pop when he pulled the valve slides out. If you would like more details let me know and I'll try to answer them although I haven't seen the horn myself, just the pictures. Thank you in advance for your opinions and advice.
