Where's our president on this? Maybe this proves that he really couldn't give squat about anything other than his most immediate agenda (?) Don't any of his wealthy oil friends want a full symphony orchestra to come hear? What about people from Nasa? Why is it that Houston is willing to build a baseball stadium complete with choo-choo train, but won't support its symphony orchestra? How come Dallas is able to get its act together, arts wise, and Houston doesn't seem to want to? Outsiders just want to know, that's all. If they don't want it, they don't want it.
