- Yes Mark, it is a "Pyramid scheme".

- The first one was simply called the "Mid-South Coliseum" (round/domed/seats 10,000 - about the average attendance for U. of M. games these days in the Pyramid, though the Pyramid seats well over 20,000...Anyone who might be interested in basketball lives out east, and the Pyramid is all the way downtown - adjacent to a crime-ridden area...' actually a perfect location for a casino.)

- As to Interstate 40, at least now they've made the originally-intended "right-of-way" for it (from the east) into a parkway/thruway of sorts...and the local folk know a fast way to go from the western end of that to where the other end re-starts to cross the Mississippi River.
