Of course. Just as the sports teams' owners are incredibly rich,

collectively the almost-as-wealthy society folk who wish to organize and hire symphony orchestras are even richer than the individual sports franchise owners.

Of course, if either of these extremely wealthy entities can enlist their local government in stealing the money of the majority of the citizens who are not interested in paying professionals to honk on instruments or play games with one another, all the better for the very rich.

Again, realize the universal immorality of any type of stealing, whether or not the lucre might be given to you, your friends, or your interests.

Further, of course it is quite easy to determine which things government should do and which it shouldn't. However, most of the population - by the year 2003 (almost two decades past the bench mark year of "1984") have been brainwashed to believe that government should have the power to steal and provide for the "mob" whatever the majority of the "mob" is tricked into voting for (whether by proxy or directly).
