I am selling my Hirsbrunner
HB-50, aka Yorkbrunner, with Dolly Music
gig bag and Walt Johnson
flight case. Asking price is $16,000. The horn was purchased 3 years ago and plays well. I am the original owner and have taken very good care of it. The lucky soul who takes this horn home will be set for gigs and auditions. The Walt Johnson case is in nearly new condition and has only been used 3 or 4 times. The Dolly bag is black cordura with extra plastic inserts for added protection. I believe a new Yorkbrunner is around $17,500, bag is $210, and case is $900. Total new cost with shipping for all three items would be well into the $19,000 range. This horn has had 1 minor modification done. The third valve slide was shortened by Matt Walters at Dillon Music. You can see by the close up shot of the valve section that the work was flawless. The horn is otherwise dent free and original. The buyer is responsible for pickup and/or delivery charges for the instrument. I reside in Falls Church, VA in case you want to come by and try it out.
