Did anyone catch the opening night broadcast of the New York Philharmonic on PBS tonight? Warren Deck did a fantastic job... He sounded awesome to me.

A lot of descriptions get tossed around on the BBS concerning "bright", "Dark", "Stuffy", "clear", etc. Of the regular posters (Sean, Jay B, Joe S, Kelly O, etc.) how would you classify his sound in these terms?

I started thinking about how we have discussed the "sounds" we get and started thinking more dimensionally, I would think of Warren's sound as being "round", not too bright, very clear, but with great depth and tonality.

I'm trying to find good examples of the sound I would like to achieve and Warren really caught my ear tonight.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Rick
