TWO-TUBA orchestral works

Everyone knows The Rite and Symphonie Fantastique as the two main repertoire two-tuba scores but what are peoples' experiences of other major works with two tubas particularly as regards intontation, breath co-ordination and blending, for example:

Strauss Alpine Symph & Zarathustra
Shostakovich Symph 4
Tippett Symph 4
Varese Arcana & Deserts
Messiaen Et Expecto & Eclairs

And American scores with two tubas in the standard repetoire?
