After having a discussion with a friend of mine about the number of tubas up for sale here every month, it seems that no one keeps their horns for very long. He said it seems everyone is out to get the tuba du jour and sell their old "clunkers" to a potential sucker, ur, buyer. I disagreed with him and said most people keep their horns more than he thinks and that "clunker" I bought sounds and plays great for me.
So I want to prove to him that most people here had their horns for a long time.
What horn(s) do you have and when did you buy them? Did you have to sell a horn to be able to purchase another?
