Boosey and Hawkes E 782 E flat (like a besson 982) in silver plate. Paid 1450 earlier this year. This horn had appeared on ebay as a Boosey BB flat and no one bid on it. It appeared to be a e flat so I contacted the music store and they had figured out that is was an e flat and asked me to make an offer. I love this horn and will probably never sell it.
Other tubas I had and sold include Mirafone BB flat (traded for bass bone) Miraphone 185CC that I should have keep, Alexander BB flat. In '79 I traded a bass bone for a Besson Euphonium, will never sell. Other axes include a ebay Conn bass trumpet 2 years ago, ebay Bach 42T trombone, 6 years ago I found an original Conn Elkhart Alto bone for $400. Have about 10 or 12 trombones at any one time, can't remember them all!
