I've noticed a lot of posts about teachers telling their students that they're great players. I'm not saying that they do not deserve to be told this, but......
1) There honestly cannot be 200 future Ron Bishops or Chester Schmitz
2) Do profs place a sense of confidence in students that they do not deserve?
3) Is the Institution placing a great emphasis on turning out descent students, and not enough emphasis on great students?
4) Does the Institution hire lack-luster teachers, who do not know how to take undeveloped raw talent and work it over time to create a great player?
I guess this is about standards in education, quality of education, and higher expectations of the teacher and college.
