Why not try it and find out? We would all be interested in your results. (I suspect that there would be no discernable pattern in your findings.)
While you're at it, try this: Ask a trusted assistant to move your main tuning slide a small amount in or out (or not at all) without telling you which. Then see if you can tell what was done just by playing the instrument. Use a tuner if you like, but do not observe the tuning slide. By repeating the experiment many times see if you can discover the smallest detectable slide movement. I suggested this experiment a year or two ago (because I think it's interesting) and got a lot of discussion, but no reported results.
