Well, as the school year draws to a close, it looks as though I'll be playing bass trombone on the side next year for jazz work. My band director dumped an old Conn 62H on me, and it plays nicely compared to the Bach TB300 I could have ended up using. My question is this-what is a good doubler MP? I am currently playing on a Miraphone TU29, but might change to an R&S Helleberg II over the summer. The MP that came with the horn, a Connstellation 3, is a pain to play, and I am looking at a Bach 1G. Recommendations, anyone?
