The Yeo has a very similar rim profile to a Schilke 60, which is not rounded at all like a 1G. Being a tuba player first, you should have no problem playing a big bass trombone mouthpiece like a 1G or a 60. The longer shank of the Schilke 60 will fit in the Conn's receiver better than the Bach 1G or a Yeo will. You can get one new for around $40. If I were you, I'd steer clear of any sort of small tuba mouthpiece or the Bobo TT offered by Yamaha.
