I have been asked by my local community orchestra to play a solo with them for a concert. They had Carneval of Venice in mind. I told the guy he was a little crazy. I suggested the 2nd mvt. of the Vaughn Williams, he said the orchestra parts were too hard. Does anyone have any idea what I could play that would be playable by a community orchestra but not too easy on the tuba. I thankyou for your input.
