Hello, I am a fairly new tuba player (I switched from the french horn last year,) and quite frankly, a lot of the technoblabble leaves me staring at the screen in sheer stupidity.
However, it also occurred to me, since you guys seem to have more talent than my high school brain could possibly imagine, I should ask you about a big problem I have.
Please note my courage, and the likelihood of this being a "typical beginner's question." I have extreme trouble sustaining long low notes, you know the kind which composers of high school music like to throw at you in every piece. I realize that this is probably a problem of lung capacity/stamina. Do any of you know of any efficient excersises to remedy this problem?

Thank you for any advice

René
