10. Show up late.

9. Advise the conductor on interpretation issues.

8. Continue to play it "the correct way" even after the conductor disagrees.

7. Strive for maximum contrast, so that you are always heard.

6. When the volume starts to fade, carry the group by playing louder.

5. Switch back and forth so that you are always playing the "most interesting" line. Euph I parts sound really cool on a CC tuba.

4. If you can't play the part up an octave, play it down two octaves, instead.

3. If you know the tune, feel free to ad lib.
