Your description of the MW 2000 sounds a bit like the 6/4 Gronitz PCK, which is just real wide. Sounds like a perfect candidate for using a DEG or K&M stand with.
Good luck with your 56J, and you sure have whetted (sp?) my appetite with your description of it's beautiful American sound. As Dale has pointed out previously, the 52/56J's seem to never make it out here to the left coast.
