College is coming up next year, and so I am looking to buy that elusive multi-purpose horn. Given what has been posted here in the past, I suspect that many will point the the 186 or the MW 2145. That said, my (Welsh) teacher has also advised that I look into Ebs such as the larger Bessons as well. I'd appreciate if anyone can give me any information comparing these horns (i.e. does the Eb work ok for orchestral stuff, appreciable differences in small ensemble settings, etc). I really appreciate it.

Also, I just received my acceptance letter today from Brown. So this leads me to another question: does anyone know about music programs at Brown, Princeton, Cornell, or Penn (obviously I'm not going to be a music major)? Thanks again.
