...and not subject to discussion? How relevant is such a sad, unfair, but true process? And why stick with it just because "thats the way it is"?
I get nervous asking questions about union stuff, mainly because if folks feel pushed to think about it or do more than just beg the question then they get belligerent.
oh, and enquiry like this shouldn't automatically be equated with "bitterness" or "jealousy"....rather as a challenge to actually think about one of the silly facts of life which some of us have interest in.
