I know everyone knows about Mahler, Respighi, Prokofiev, Wagner, and Bruckner excerpts. But after reading the Vaughan Williams Sym 4 post I was wondering about other composers that have witten great tuba parts (or brass parts) to contribute to the music world. Can anyone list other composers or symphonies that have great tuba or brass parts, or, are just fun to listen to. Can anyone comment on the Schmidt Symphonies, Vaughan Williams Symphonies, any other modern works, etc.

Thanks,

TH
