Anyone have any unusually good or bad experiences with your easter gig today?
For me, it was my ride showing up in about the smallest pickup truck I had
ever seen and expecting that I would just throw my horn in the back (he, conveniently, was driving with his trumpet on his lap, so I was just as worried about my own safety as that of my tuba). It was at this point that I was thankful for having been convinced by the guy at Brasswind to also buy a hard case while I was there. I still didn't want go, but it's amazing what a college kid will do for $300. Next year, I'll make sure that I get a ride with someone who owns a cargo van.
Any other stories?
