Rick, re. your two phantom HBs to my one, the differences are probably a lot in the families we have. I have three children (exemptions, child tax credit, health care cost FSA, etc.), and my wife works part time in a job that's more ministry than job (activities director for Sr. citizens with Alzheimers, strokes, etc.), so I probably don't do quite as well on the credit side, so the IRS takes it a little easier on me. I'll never complain of my blessings in life, but I do wish Uncle Sam (and some of his state, county and city cousins) would be a bit less demanding.
