I hastily threw together a few photos on a webpage so that some of you folks can see the fellows
that we discussed in a previous thread about Recording Basses.
I've included three Spike Tubists in chronological order, plus a tubist from "Freddie Fisher's Schnickelfritz Band", Mr. Charlie Koenig. If anyone has any information about
Mr. Koenig, I would welcome it!
Even though Country Washburne didn't play a Recording Bass, I included his picture because his horn has so much "character" (repairperson's jargon for 'lots of dents').
