Ok, I just got mailed the tuba parts for an upcoming wedding gig. I was told we were doing Ewald #1 which I assumed was the 5 part arrangement, the one I have performed on many ocassions. Well I was wrong. Must have been some mix up in the Japanese/English translation( I live in Japan btw). I have never performed the 6 part version of this piece or seen the part until today. Who the heck got the opening tuba line in the first movement? Is there a bassbone part or what?
I am a little disturbed about this but I won't turn down the gig for it thats for sure.
