I am playing this piece with my orchestra in an upcoming concert in Tokyo. My orchestra has two tuba players and we trade on and off. However, Ein Heldenleben has a tenor tuba part that I have not seen or even knew of until recently(please forgive me guys) and at the moment I do not have access to the score. My question is could this part be played on F tuba(I mean both phyisically and charateristically) or does it need to be done on euph. Like I said I have not seen that part so I am not sure myself. Just wondering if some of you other bubba's out there have dealt with this situation. I will be on my 6/4 Holton so I am wondering about my partner.
