Uh . . . that was what I was alluding to. We circulated a petition for the change. We got a whole lot of signatures. but they just wouldn't play ball, so to speak.
I did have something to do with the nomination of a Dalmatian (Hector the "Eagle" Dog) and a squirrel (Agnes) to the for-real Homecoming Court. This was an exciting time to be at UNT. (heh, heh, heh)
