Apparently, my high school orchestra has a concerto compatition every year, although I only found out today. I would love to take such an opertunity, and hopefully, be one of the few that gets to preform their concerto. However, I am not a concerto aficionado, and have no idea what is good or not for tuba concertos (and neither does my trumpet playing band director). I was hoping you all would have some good ideas for a harder 5 or 6 level concerto. Any good ones come to mind?
