Do you think the Miraphone Kaiser Bariton is configured like the Alexander pictured? I ask because the New World High School (where I teach weekly) has one of these horns. It didn't impress me as particularly big for a euphonium, just shaped a little more like a tuba. Also, the one here has absolutely horrible intonation. I've had some of my best students play on it and it always comes up the same, awful. I hadn't guessed that the Kaiser model and this horn could be one in the same but I suppose it is possible. Perhaps I'll have to check this out...
