The $1000 barely covers the cost of getting many high schools to and from the parks. Disney doesn't provide transportation, so figure at least $250 bucks per bus far one day just to get a band from Orlando to the parks. Knowing the size of many of the local bands, they usually need at least two or three busses for peopla and equipment. That may be why your orchestra turned them down!
