I hate the fourth valve on the side. It's harder to coordinate fingerings with the fourth valve, you don't really have a choice where to hold the horn if you're standing up, and you don't have a free hand to pull slides. Unfortunately, there aren't any really great horns out there that have 5 valves. If anyone knows of a 5 valved euph out there that competes witht the Willsons and the Hirsbrunners of the world, let me know, I could be in the market for one.
