I got the job when Maestro Cleve was the conductor. He COULD be a taskmaster, but he is such an ENORMOUS talent, that his tirades could be cast aside a bit. And at times, the music making was STUPENDOUS! Also, I was trained under Mehli Mehta (Zubin's father). After Mehli, Cleve was a PUSSYCAT!
