OK. I've been reading and studying the issue for a while, now, and I have a question: If you have an "S" link setup that is working perfectly, with no noise, is there ANY reason to convert?
I can understand replacing worn "S" links with DuBro parts. That is a less expensive way to replace worn links than buying replacement hardware from the manufacturer.
I can understand manufacturers migrating to ball and socket links. A cursory examination strongly suggests a lower cost of parts and assembly with better adjustability and, possibly, easier maintenance.
But... has anyone replaced a good set of "S" links with ball and socket links of any kind and seen a tangible benefit?
Inquiring minds... again...
