The later, B&M Symphonic CC's resolved all the goofy problems associated with the earlier CC "model 5520" B&M's. The BBflat B&M "model 5500" are cracked up to be pretty fine horns, the earlier CC Marzan and B&M versions had intonation problems that Bob Rusk figured out and changed when cutting a really good BBflat to CC. Nirschl adopted those changes for the last few of these horns built. This size horn was never built (to the best of my knowledge) as a Nirschl-badged horn, though I HAVE seen one other (but with the main tuning on the bottom instead of on top at the left hand) built by Walter that was badged "Perantucci."
