I borrowed a euphonium from my school to practise on during the summer it is a boosey and hawks from the 1960's. My problem it the first valve was sticking, I took the valve out of the casing and took a look at it but when i went to put it back it did not slide in, instead i encountered lots of resistence.
Can you think of any ways to try to fix this or should i just take it to the repair shop?
