I am having a very hard time consistantly playing the G - Bb above the bass clef in tune and with good tone. Right now I am using a BBb tuba with a bore of something around .650 (I'm just guessing, but I know it isn't above .670) I'm thinking that a large bore CC tuba will help play these really high notes consistantly in tune and with good tone because there would be less resistance working against me. (I'm thinking .750 - probably a PT-6P - would help me out a lot) What does the BBS think? Is larger bore the way to go to solve my problem?
