I have a B&S F that is stripped and I would never part with it. I played before it was stripped and it was good then (14 years ago). The former owner was not convinced after he stripped it so I traded him even for Rudy 6 banger I had at the time. He no longer has the Rudy.
I like the B&S so much I wouldn't mess with it. One time, Lee Stofer suggested I relaquer it (he was showing me how to chem clean at the AFSOM). Lee is a great technician and I respect his opinions but had to politely disagree on that one. Too much of a gamble.
