This incredibly long list of universities and colleges seems to be leaving out some of the "biggies" when it comes to studying tuba/music.
Indiana University (Dan Parentoni)!!
University of Wisconsin-Madison (John Stevens)!!
University of Iowa (lots of $$ for student tubists at the moment (I would imagine))
Manhattan School
New England Conservatory
etc.
etc.
etc.
