Agreed. Even the most well meaning reccomendations can spark a wildfire here. Over zealous opinions always get in the way. Plus, what has worked well for one person may not work for another.
I also agree that at lists are "lame".
I think that perhaps our parent needs to do a little legwork and see whats out there and what will work for them.
