I searched the archives for this subject but found I couldn't get very specific search results.
Can folks tell me about experiences recording themselves in a practice situation? What they got out of it - good and bad...
Also what is a good way to go about recording yourself - equipment wise? I have a MD unit as part of my home stereo so would a portable MD do the job well - any recommendations? Mikes?
I'm not looking for an honest version of how I sound the other side of the horn. No need for professional grade equipment...!
