If someone "remmed" their car into a tree because they knew their steering was bad and didn't bother to get it fixed, then yeah, I might say, "sucks to be you". But not preparing for an audition isn't quite the same thing. The guy just didn't care enough to do what he needed to prepare well. So, now that you're finished with your third year in high school, hopefully you've gleaned enough from this thread to not make the same mistake if you decide to pursue a degree in music.
