Those GWW (Wisconsin-made wood) cases beefed up with the cordura-over-wood, inset latches, extra corner brackets, and piano hinge are a good compromise between "consumer" and "custom" grade cases. They also have an interior bottom bow strap that keeps the bell from smacking against the end of the case during rough handling by others. Although these make for a tighter fit in a vehicle, I would get the (lifetime durability) wheels. With the wheels, you'll be more likely to use the case, and less likely to damage your instrument in transport.

As no bag prevents denting and the only issues with a bag are durability and ease of use, I would go with the ProTec...unless you like top-loaders, and then I would look at Tuxedo. Both are very well-made, durable (on the fixtures-to-bag connections), very convenient (back-straps, etc.) and warranteed. Both are also well under $200 also, I think.
