If I sounded somewhat punchy, its probably because I just got out of a dreadful rehearsal this morning where we're doing something like 15 or 20 "World War 2 Love Songs" on the second half of our pops concert tonight. The singer is pretty good but the arrangements are AWFUL and I need to take a nap!
I have the Cimera etude book as well and they aren't used much, are they. The more I see who chooses what for etudes, the more I think it is more like choosing tubas. You have to find just the right combination of difficulty and interest that they work for you. Anyhow, the practicing is the important part, eh? Good luck!
