bass trombone or tuba (EEB, BB, CC)

I play a tenor trombone (large bore .547) in an wind orchestra. A few months ago I began to play in a brass quintet the bass line with a bass trombone (dual bore .562/.578). Now I'm thinking, if I should play the tuba in the quintet instead of the bass trombone (my first instrument was an euphonium, so it would not be a big problem). What do you think: bass trombone or tuba in a brass quintet? If tuba, which one (EEB, BB, CC,...)? (-->in the orchestra I'll keep playing my tenor trombone!!!)
