As to titanium, I was simply wondering how using it as a bell material only-not the whole horn-would affect the sound. As to the brass/other metals, I was wondering what different proportions of the copper-vs.-brass in the metal would do to the sound(warmer, darker, etc.), e.g. yellow brass, gold brass, and rose brass, each of which have a higher copper content, respectively, along with how pure copper would sound. I din't know that bronze was an alloy-I have seen french horns marketed with bronze bells, and was wondering how these affect sound.
