I am very impressed by your project horn and would love to get my hands on it. I would want to put on a larger-bore valve section & matching leadpipe, and replace the first couple of bows with brass. (The sound pressure is greatest in the small tubing.) I suspect it could play a lot better with those changes. How heavy is it?
