If you have a beautiful sound, a wide range of volume, and superb flexibility, there is no reason to change.

Obviously, the decision is completely yours...

...On the other hand, I knew a very talented euphonium player who played with air between their lips and teeth - right under the mouthpiece. This person's teacher didn't change that because he was the best euphonium player the school had ever seen.

There were, of course, accuracy and consistency problems, and when the person went on to study with a "world class" teacher, he eventually dropped out because of these problems.
