Allright.. I'll chime in. First, a song has words. Penderecki's Cappricio is not a song. Now that that's cleared up... Comparing these two amazing players is near impossible. It's like asking people's favorite food. You'll get a bizillion different answers, and of course, all opinions. I suggest that you buy both player's CD's and listen, as there is much to learn from each player. I love Dan Perantoni's sound, and his interpretation of things is second to none. Then again, Mr. Bobo's musicianship is truly inspiring and definitely something to strive for. Take what you can from each musician you listen to. Even if you disagree with something that someone else does, you've learned that you will do it a different way. From my experience, there is something to be learned every single time you listen to a piece of music, even if it's the thousanth time you've heard it. Buy as much music as your money will allow, and do a whole lot of intense listening.
